my first fanfic! exam sa hums

Foreword:

On the advent of technology and rapid globalization, the contemporary era had able to produce various writers that became part of free-lance and even the most recent “FanFic” writers. These fanfic writers based their ideas on the previous novels published by known authors or novelist that ended their novel even  there is still questions on the fans mind. Thus, the fans creates new stories to continue or to satisfy their interest regarding the published novels. There works was now circulating on the world wide web connecting every fans with their ideas on how to end and even how to continue the fame they followed.

It was Monday morning and I am texting with Ida, I was became problematic on that day, about the exam on this subject. But because I was fond on texting I’ve got an idea with her accidentally. “Anu ginigibo mo?”, I asked her. Then she replied, “Nagbabasa ning fanfic.”. I became curious about it and I asked her, “anu ang fanfic?”. She said that it was fiction made which became a hit in this days. It became a trending topic and hobby on 21^st century. I became curious about it so I tried to make one and the product of this is the crescent moon which was my pre-final examination in humanities. Considering that it was an exam with different archetypes the continuation of  twilight Saga became one of my interest. Thus, I’ve created this short story of Jacob and Renesmee love affair.

It was rainy afternoon in Seattle  when I decided to visit Renesmee on their house on the Cullins Residence. I take my wolf form to reach her fast so that I could see her face that I missed for about two days that I was gone in Seattle. In two days, I had a hard days for I am longing to see and hug her daily but I need to find a job for myself, for my satisfaction and be productive also. Yet, I never leave my task behind as the leader of the pack because Iasked Sam to be in-charge. I reached her house about two o-clock in the afternoon. I saw Bella busy reading magazines on the left corridor of her house that was given by Carlisle and Esme on their wedding day. On the other side was Alice who was busy on making designs that I think the dress of Nessie on its eighteenth birthday. I assumed that Edward was inside Carlisle mansion because I heard his piano leeches stuff that irritates my ear every time I hear it before. But, it is okay right now because I will be part of the leeches family and soon I will be their guard dog. Esme and Carlisle were busy on planting Orchids that was rare in US. I am always on their house that I before called as  bloodsuckers and leeches but right now I called them family.

“Bella!” I called her and hurriedly kissed her checks. “Jacob! Oh my God, hows the trip to New York?” she asked. “It was fine, busy with the asshole, you know, the employers. Damn I could not able to find a job there”, I said. “ Maybe you should asked Carlisle if he could able to give you a sort of job like getting blood out of the patients body so that we could dink it”, she replied. “What the hell happened to your mind mother-in-law?, I sold  her. “ Just kidding and don’t ever called me mother-in-law or else I will rip your body to two!”, she said with her melodic voice. “By the way, where Nessie?”, I asked her. “Oh, she is inside, busy playing piano with Edward. Wait here, I will call her.”, she offered. “Thanks mother-in-law!”, I shouted.

“Hi Alice!”, I greeted. “Hi! I am busy dog, can’t entertain you right now.”, she replied. “Okay.” , I said. I’ve waited about two minutes before Nessie came out. “Jake!,” she shouted. I am very happy because I saw her face at last. She hugs me and I had hug her back. “Love, your dad and mom are watching us.”, I said.   She “Oh sorry. So, do you find a job?”, she asked me. “Negative but I will just focus on my fishing carreer here and my guardian responsibility at night.”, I replied. “Okay, that’s good. Lets hunt Jake.”, she offered and I agreed.

We were running towards the center of the mountain where I remembered the place where we fight the newborn vampires which was the coven of Victoria. It was the time were I’ve got the bite mark at my back and when I got a severe bone-crushed. We cross the bank and started to have a race to go back on their house. Who knows that I always defeated her in this contest for I know every shortcuts in the mountains. On the mid of the race, she stops suddenly. Her face looked like there are question that fills her mind. She asked me, “What if I could not give you a child that every father is wishing?”. I replied, “Renesmee, I am not asking for anything else in this world, I am just praying for your love.”. She smiled at me, a smile that makes my heart beats fast.

We continue our journey when suddenly Nessie remarks, “Jake, wait I smelled a different kind of blood! Lets look at it!” she offered and hurriedly run to the direction of what-she-said as different kind of blood. My heart race of nervousness when I heard a baby cry on the distant. It is a cry that I think much different to any human cry in this world, a cry that makes me scared, that makes me want to resist to go there. But, I have the courage to continue because Renesmee is going there, so, I need to go even it is against my will.

When we reach the border of the Seattle we saw a baby boy lying on the ground. He is crying and guardless. On its neck, a crescent moon mark was visible even I am far from him. I wondered whether he is an ordinary boy or not. I am curious about the marking on his neck.  Renesmee carried the baby just like a mother who craddles her child when it is crying. I said to her to let go of it. But she refused. “ Nessie, it is a human, you will crave for his blood.”, I said to her even I knew that she has a great sense of control just like her mother. “ No Jake, I am part human, I know what he fells. He is asking for his mother. Let Carlisle looks on this baby.”,  she said. ‘But…”, I demanded but she rebutted me, “no more words Jake, my decision is final whether you like or not.” She smiled back and hurriedly runs on the direction of her parents house.

I followed her as fast as I can and when I reached on her house, I saw Carlisle checking the baby boy. Carlisle said that it is not an ordinary boy. It is a child of the moon which makes Edward and the rest of the family be scared. This boy is the real werewolf that I think is what the Quiluete elders had  told us that they are our ancestors.

“That child must be killed or else we will die. The Volturi will soon finds out and Marcus will send the rest of the guards to kill us. This is the time they are waiting for to kill our coven.”, Emmett remarked. “No, he must not be killed, he is my adopted son!”, Nessie said with a teary eyes. “Nessie, he is dangerous!”, I said to her. “Renesmee this is not the time to for your selfish act!’, Edward shouted. Renesmee hurriedly went to her mother to ask comfort. Bella hugged her whole-kindheartedly.

“The Volturi will kill this innocent creature and I could not take it.” Esme  replied as her heart shaped face turns to Carlisle that I think asking for support. “I am a mother like anyone else in the world and I could able to withstand to see my child dying without any protection on the hands of Volturi. We can do something in this case just like what we did to save Nessie.”, she added. I am looking on her face that was really sincere on letting the child lives.

“It will be a risk but we need to help this child even he is a child of the moon. It is our task to give him a chance to experience life before anyone else take it. But, we need to be alert on this kind of matter. We need to tame the boy before the Volturi receives news  on this boy. Nessie, don’t ever take this boy out of the mansion. You need to fill his mind with thoughts and information that he needs to survive in this world. Make sure that you will give him the idea that we are his family. Jasper, you need to be on-guard with his emotion and you need to teach him how to balance the emotions in his heart. Edward, always hear his thoughts so that we could able to find if our plan is working. And Jacob, you need to be in wolf form every time he will sleep to let him experience the werewolf life.” Carlisle said.

I said to myself that this plan is insane and why we are going to keep a monster on our house and will let him kill us. But, right now I could not do anything. I agreed to what Carlisle asked me to do even all the odds. Carlisle assumed that the child could will transform to a full-grown werewolf on the age of five every time there is a moon in the sky. Just like Renesmee, the child will be matured on the age of four which is very mysterious. The basis of Carlisle theory is the story of Marcus when he is a guest in Volterra. He ended  up there and asked us to be on guard if in-case the mother of the child appeared.

Every day we do our task on the child, nessie is very happy on taking care the child just like a true mother. Then, she called the baby as Edward Jacob or simply EJ. Bella teach her the things she needs to know on caring a baby that grows triple a day. At  the age of seven-months EJ could able to run and talk. At the age of one, EJ could read, count and perform task at advanced level of his young age. She could able to gain control on his strength and speed at the age of three. On the age of four, he became a full-grown man. He interacted with us and learn about our different abilities and races, that her mother is a vampire and his father is a form-changer. No doubt that he had able to accept that he is just our adopted son.

It was full-moon when EJ was changing his form to werewolf, the begin of his werewolf life. I was aware of what is happening. Hairs slowly growing around his body, his nails sharpens just like a knife, and his face slowly turning to a wolf with his sharp fangs became visible on the light of the moon.  I hurriedly check his mind if he could not able to control his thought. But, luckily, we made it, he had a complete control during and after his transformation. Carlisle explains to EJ  everything to make him understand his ability. Everyone was alert if in case EJ will turn out to a killing beast. But nothing happens, he just run and run as though as he is a real wolf. Nessie hugged himand said to him that she is proud of him. We  hurriedly goes home so that no one will able to see EJ in its form. The night faded away fast.

When I woke, I saw EJ telling everyone his experience in turning to werewolf. He became glad about his abilities and his speed. But I said to myself that there is something worst will soon happen and I am scared of. I run towards the Quileute tribe to tell to them what happened on that night. They were surprised about the development of EJ and congratulated me about our son. Sam joke that we need to let EJ experience mans’ life and let him be baptized by girls to take away his virginity. But I said that even I is still virgin and they laughed.  We make our daily routine, checking the mountains and valleys even the banks to secure the area for any nomad vampires except the Cullins coven. The borders set by the treaty of Quileutes tribe and Carlisle was removed letting them to hunt even on our mountains.

I hurriedly went back to Carlisle residence in order to see what is the development ot EJ. But when I am opening the door , I saw Nessie running towards me. She is crying and I think there is something wrong with EJ or anything else. I asked her and she said, “ Alice said that the Volturi is now making their way to Seattle to kill EJ! Maybe by tomorrow they will be in the coast and hurriedly wait for the right moment to attack. Alice also said that the y will never forgive us for what we have done.”. I comforted her with a hug and I said to her that everything will be going to be fine and we will find a way to helped EJ.

I move toward Edward to talked to him. He said that we have twelve hours to prepare. If in case we could ask the Volturi a chance we will fight them in return. It is a small hope to win in this battle but it is the life of my son that is in danger, I will do everything for him. EJ discovered that he has the ability to repel attacks just like Renata, the personal assistant of Aro. But our abilities is lower that there power if all the guards will help in killing EJ and possible us. We make plans on how to explain to Volturi about our tamed Child of the moon. We are restless and I could not able to look forward to see EJ be killed on our own eyes. He is our son and no one will take him away from us.

It was 9 pm when Alice said that the Volturi is here. We gathered on the dining area to talk for a while and we proceeded on the place where we will meet the Volturi. But, there is something missing that I could not figure out. A picture of Nessie came into my mind. “Where is Nessie?!”,I yelled. We became pathetic but Carlisle asked us to continue with our plan even without Nessie. We are thinking that she must be on the forest thinking and she don’t want to see what will happen to EJ.

We arrive at the destination where we will meet the Volturi, it is in the middle of Seattle, a place hidden between the mountains and valleys and unknown to Seattle villagers. We saw Marcus at the middle of the ground with Demetri, Jane, Alec, Felix and five remaining guards that I don’t know their names. They look like a fierce lion that is catching a wild deer as their lunch. But, right now, I have no fear because the life of my son is at sake.

“Hello, my dear friend Carlisle, I am thinking that you are not here right now. But Demetri said that your presence is still here. So, I prefer to see you in this day.” Marcus said. “ Yes Marcus, and what makes a leader of Volturi comes on our territory?” Carlisle asked. “ After, the half-vampire creatures, I think you know our intention because of your gifted daughter Alice,  I had received an intel that you are keeping a child of the moon. Is it true Carlisle?”, he asked. Carlisle replied calmly, “Yes Marcus, but we are asking for your second chance regarding him. He is tamed, he had a complete control of himself unlike what you told me before.”  Marcus sighed, smiled and walked back and forth , “No,no, no. Perhaps it is absurd to see a werewolf  being tamed by its personal enemy but it is our law that we need to kill their race. Even it is tamed or not. I cannot give to you what you are asking. We will not break the rule but if Aro will change it, then we will forgive this boy. But, Aro had decided to kill the existing Child of the Moon, Carlisle.”

“No, please give him a chance!” , I shouted. I don’t know what force me to talk. Is it the courage of a father?

“Who are you to talk without my permittion?”, Marcus asked.

“I am Jacob Black, chieftain of Quileutes tribe and leader of the pack. Your world is different from my realm and you are stepping in my territory. You must leave for I will not forgive you.” I yelled.

After saying this, Felix was running towards EJ. I was totally alerted and hurriedly transform to wolf and attacked Felix. I had bit Felix on his arm but he throw me off by a single punch. I struck trees and saw my feet broke. Edward hurriedly covered Felix but even him could not handle the forceful attack of Demetri. Bella is focusing on shielding us against Jane and Alec. Carlisle and Emmet begins to attack Marcus and Demetri, while Alice and Rose attacked the  three guards. Jasper handled the two remaining guards. EJ don’t know what to do and just covering his face in terror. Everyone failed to kill any of their opponents. Bella is lying on the ground with Edward who was completely wasted. Emmett and Carlisle and the rest could not move any of their body because I think of the ability of Alec. Edward cried out in agony due to Jane ability to create illusion of pain. I am crawling going to EJ to at least shield him for the last time. When Demetri tried to kill him for the last time, I shield myself to protect my son. My ribs broke because of the powerful punch of Aro. I was thinking that I will die soon, but I strengthen myself to see what will happen next. My vision is now blurred.

EJ transform to werewolf that scared the Marcus and the guards but they continue to attack him. EJ used his ability to repel attacks from Felix and Marcus. He dodged with every attack given by the rest of the guards. He had thrown Marcus on the rocks and Felix crawls away from him. EJ hurriedly picked me up and bring me to his back to protect me. He soon carried in safety Carlisle and the company in a safe place guarded by him. Jane and Alec soon attack EJ unknowingly that does not let him to use his ability to repel attacks. EJ is yelling in great pain. A yell that slowly and slowly broke my heart. I saw Marcus fired a silver bullet towards him and I use my last strenght to absurb the shot. It is a complete tragedy for me for I had shielded myself for my son for three consecutive times. I fell to the ground and EJ hugged me and crying. “Father, don’t give up!” he said through his mind. “Yes”, I said and I coughed blood.

EJ lie me on the ground. He then attacked Marcus even he was bearing a great pain from Jane. Felix grabbed the opportunity to kick him and he could not escape from the attack. Marcus again fired up another bullet and it hit EJ on his hips. EJ shouting and yelling in pain. I want to help him but I could not do it because of my destructed body. I don’t to hear his suffering anymore. Then it stopped.

I hear a voice from the a distant shouting the rest of the company to stop attacking EJ. It was Aro the leader of the Volturi with..with…Nessie! I was shocked on what I saw, Nessie was behind Aro. I asked myself if what is she doing there. Is it the thing that Nessie had done when she was gone? What is her reason?

Aro spoke, “ Marcus, forgive this child of the moon for once for I have seen the thruth. That this child is different from the monster you hunted before. Renesmee had explained everything to me and it satisfy me. Upon hearing that theis child of the moon is beingg tamed, my enthusiasm begins to fill my mind. No doubt the Carlisle coven is very precious to loose. They became part of the form-changer, they had able to create a half-blood, a mental type family and now taming a child of the moon! Amazing is it? I saw the child of the moon helped Carlisle and the rest of the family. I was touched when he cried because of that form-changer death. Besides, this creature could able to repel attacks just like Renata. It is indeed waste to completely erase this creatures even we could use them”

Marcus replied, “Are you not thinking Aro? This is a monster! This monster attacks us!”

Aro shouted, “It is because you are stupid! You attacked those persons he loves! You live for about three-thousand years but right you have shown that you are like a child. A child who could not able to weighed situations and reality. That everything has a chance to survive. I am not saying that we will not continue our law but I am saying in front of these vampires that we will kill those werewolfes that attacks vampires and man without valid reason!”

Renesmee turned to me. She runs beside crying and said, “Why do you not wait for me Jake. I am able to save him without risking any lives of our family!  Jake! Wake up! I cant live without you.!” I saw her face as angelic just like before, the girl that I treasured in my life. Her brown eyes that she got from Bella that I cherished as a pearl of my heart. The girl that gives meaning to my life and color to my dying heart.

“Jake, I love you! Please don’t give up! Dad! Call grannie! Grannie help Jake!”, Renesmee yelled to Carlisle. Carlisle hurriedly run to me to give me an immediate medications. But I think it was not working. My body begins to numb, a numbness that maybe the avenue to death. I raise my hand to touch for the last time the face of Renesmee, my love. I wipe her tears in her eyes and I want to hear everything. “ Why do you leave”, I asked her. 

“I went to Volturi to ask Aro to give EJ a chance, then, he agreed but for one thing, I, mom and dad must serve the Volturi for one hundred years. But, I told him that we will serve him in one condition, no one must died in this night. Then, he agreed. We hurriedly run to this place in order to stop Marcus on killing EJ and we were late because Sam died after the attack.”, she said.

“It is fine Nessie, I love you and I am happy living with you for about eighteen years. It is you that gives me life,courage, hope and reasons to continue breathing. It is you who gives color to my life. Nessie, you are the girl that I was imprinted and the girl destined to me. I think this is the day that I will die but I am very happy to see you and our son lives. Even I am not on your side just remember that I am still on your heart, on your mind. Do not take revenge, for vengeance will just give you misery for the rest of your life. Babe, I love you and I am happy that you are on my side on the day that I die. I Love You!”, I said to her.

Blackness slowly and slowly invades my eyes, I could not able to feel pain anymore. I think my whole body is numb right now. I think death is upon me. On my last breath I saw here face clearer and hear her saying in a melodic voice,”I love you Jake”.

Then, memories of her still runs on my mind. I saw myself running to the house where my love is, the girl I was imprinted, her brown eyes that I like, her beauty that was angelic, her beautiful smile, her precious face and the days that we shared. No one tells how deeply I was in love to Renesmee, the daughter of my first love , Bella. I am a son of a great chieftain, leader of the pack and hardened by every years that passed. Life circulates in my blood, a blood that runs in every century. I am a form changer and my unique features give me immortality with enthusiasm to live because of my love for her. A love I could not resist because it was destiny that insist. I am Jacob the linker of two world, father of forgotten race  and bearer of love and responsibility. But right now, death swallowed my life and this is the end of my story.
